Delivers production-ready Java code on GCP, mentoring juniors and guiding architecture decisions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Design, schedule, and execute batch jobs using GCP Cloud Run.
• Mentor junior developers through pair-programming and provide design guidance.
• Break down architectural designs into actionable stories for the team.
• Apply secure coding practices and use advanced debugging tools.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience developing Java code.
• 4+ years of experience in object-oriented design.
• 4+ years of experience with the Spring Framework.
• 3+ years of experience with GCP technologies and cloud-native services.
• 2+ years of experience with GCP Cloud Run.
• Experience with middleware packages like WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Solutions Certification.
• Experience with Rest or Soap API development.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Master’s Degree desired.
