Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of Java applications on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of Java-based applications to meet technical standards and business requirements.
• Architect and implement scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Oversee cloud migration projects and the development of cloud-native applications on GCP.
• Establish coding standards, manage code reviews, and ensure adherence to CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• 2-3 years in a technical lead or similar leadership role.
• Expertise in Java (8 or above), Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases including SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Ability to design CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure as code.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• GCP certification, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Developer.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
