Description

Lead end-to-end Java application development and oversee cloud migration projects to GCP.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Oversee cloud-native application development on GCP, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Establish coding standards, development policies, and best practices for cloud and Java teams.
• Manage code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Troubleshoot complex development and production issues to ensure service resilience.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• 2-3 years in a technical lead or similar leadership role.
• Expertise in Java (8+), Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certification (Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or frontend technologies like Angular and JavaScript.
