Description

Lead data engineering efforts, managing GCP-based data services and large-scale migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute ETL processes and manage large-scale data migrations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform administrative tasks including project setup, user authorizations, and job scheduling.
• Write and test programs using Unix Shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Prioritize tasks through direct consultation with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Product Managers.
• Manage support services and change management processes using ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT industry experience.
• Mastery of GCP and related data services including BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Google Composer.
• Expert-level SQL and BigQuery proficiency.
• Extensive experience with ETL and data migration workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows and SaaS-based tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL programming.
• Experience working within agile application development environments.
• Ability to perform unit testing and manage change via ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Basics of Python or Java.
