Description

Lead data engineering initiatives on Google Cloud Platform, owning migration, infrastructure, and ETL processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own data migration and ETL processes using BigQuery and SQL.
• Configure and manage GCP infrastructure, including projects, users, and authorizations.
• Write, test, and maintain programs using Unix Shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Manage support services and change control via ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot system issues and handle job scheduling.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT industry experience.
• Expert proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services.
• Strong command of BigQuery and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL and Dataflow.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Familiarity with Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Experience with Git workflows and SaaS tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Ability to prioritize tasks with business and product stakeholders.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Cloud Functions.
