Description

Design and deliver secure, scalable networking for GCP-hosted applications, owning VPC architecture, segmentation, and hybrid connectivity.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate GCP networking components, including VPCs, Shared VPCs, subnets, routes, and DNS patterns.
• Define ingress and egress architecture, including NAT, load balancing, and private access controls.
• Implement hybrid connectivity using VPN and Interconnect, managing routing design and troubleshooting.
• Provision and manage network infrastructure safely using Terraform modules, change controls, and staged rollouts.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, flow data, and systematic root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or cloud platform infrastructure.
• Strong GCP networking fundamentals: routing, segmentation, firewalling, and connectivity design.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for network provisioning and infrastructure change management.
• Proficiency in Python for automation or scripting tasks.
• Experience managing change safety and reducing blast radius in cloud deployments.
• Ability to partner with security and application teams to align network standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with structured root-cause analysis and flow record monitoring.
• Knowledge of blast-radius reduction strategies in enterprise environments.
