Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert focused on securing Google Cloud Platform environments and implementing security controls.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage native GCP security controls including Cloud Armor, KMS, and Security Command Center.
• Implement security protocols such as MFA, SSO, and GCDS to enforce identity and access management.
• Investigate security anomalies by analyzing network traffic, log files, and host-based automated security signals.
• Provide SIRT support for information security events and perform threat management against OWASP-based attacks.
• Maintain system documentation and prepare security reports by summarizing data trends and vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT Security with at least 3 years specifically in GCP cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with GCP IAM, Organization Policy, and Security Command Center.
• Proficiency in implementing Cloud Armor, GCP KMS, and malware solutions.
• Practical knowledge of Python and Terraform for security automation.
• Experience managing GCP Cloud Functions and data protection strategies.
• Understanding of PCI, ISO 27002, and SAMI regulation compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and system vulnerabilities using security event management tools.
• Knowledge of intrusion systems, anti-virus, and anti-spyware consoles.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant professional security certifications.
• Knowledge of SAMI compliance frameworks.
