Description

You will design and implement complex cloud architectures on GCP, focusing on scalability, availability, and cost-effectiveness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design production, staging, QA, and development cloud infrastructures for 24x7 environments.
• Develop high-level and low-level design documents for GCP platforms and data center integrations.
• Collaborate with application architects and DevOps teams to modernize IaaS applications into PaaS.
• Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the viability of proposed technical solutions.
• Drive system reliability, availability, and performance while ensuring security and compliance controls.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years specifically as an Architect.
• Deep expertise in GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Anthos, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Strong networking knowledge of VPC, Cloud DNS, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, and Load Balancing.
• Experience with Cloud IAM, Resource Manager, Cloud KMS, and Cloud Armor.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, and Anthos Service Mesh.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
• Automation skills using Python or CLI scripting (bash, perl, ruby).
• Practical knowledge of configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Ability to work with Spark and various data services like Cloud Spanner and Bigtable.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and monitoring via Stackdriver.
• Experience with Spark and automation to reduce repetitive incidents.
