Description

You will design and implement technical solutions within Google Cloud environments, owning the full lifecycle from infrastructure discovery to migration and ongoing management.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud architectures, including migration strategies from on-premises systems to Google Cloud.
• Lead infrastructure discovery, design, build, and migration processes for servers, storage, and databases.
• Oversee infrastructure and software upgrades through predictive planning.
• Architect data solutions incorporating data management, governance, and archival system concepts.
• Manage and troubleshoot RDBMS environments and cloud-native databases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technical solutions implementation and architecture design.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud services including Cloud Datastore, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and Dataflow.
• Strong proficiency with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience implementing microservices on GCP.
• Understanding of private and public cloud architecture pros and cons.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and database troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Development experience in Python, Java, shell scripting, or PL/SQL.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification.
