Description

Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies for Google Cloud Platform environments. You will own the security posture by defining access control policies, roles, and permissions for GCP resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop IAM governance frameworks, including access request workflows and approval processes.
• Define and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and identity management policies across GCP services.
• Conduct periodic access reviews to recertify user and service permissions, ensuring least-privilege adherence.
• Implement security monitoring and incident response plans for unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to align IAM solutions with regulatory standards like HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI DSS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with specific focus on Google Cloud IAM.
• Deep proficiency in GCP IAM features, including service accounts, roles, and policies.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, identity providers, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
• Experience designing access control mechanisms for complex multi-service GCP architectures.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards and audit requirements.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex access control issues.
• Strong documentation skills for policies, procedures, and audit reports.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Security Engineer certification.
