Description

Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies for Google Cloud Platform environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define access control policies, roles, and permissions for GCP resources to own the security posture.
• Develop IAM governance frameworks, including access request workflows and approval processes.
• Enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and identity management policies across GCP services.
• Conduct periodic access reviews to recertify user and service permissions for least-privilege adherence.
• Implement security monitoring and incident response plans for unauthorized access or breaches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security with a specific focus on Google Cloud IAM.
• Deep proficiency in GCP IAM features, including service accounts, roles, and policies.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, identity providers, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
• Experience designing access control mechanisms for complex multi-service GCP architectures.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards and audit requirements.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex access control issues.
• Strong documentation skills for policies, procedures, and audit reports.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Security Engineer certification.
