Description

Analyze business needs and lead the planning, design, and implementation of systems within the GDOT GIS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create functional requirements, specifications, and documentation for business solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, and evaluate information from multiple sources.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate business requirements.
• Coordinate and execute testing for new installations or system upgrades.
• Present findings to stakeholders and consult with vendors to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or Associate's degree with two years of experience.
• Two years of experience as an IT Business Analyst 1 or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience researching system and user problems using analytical techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to manage workload, set priorities, and meet performance goals.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and resolve problems effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system change request testing and data creation.
• Knowledge of Income and/or Business taxes.
• Project management skills to administer multiple projects simultaneously.
