Description

You will drive QA planning, tracking, and reporting for software development projects to ensure successful test strategy implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, scenarios, and test cases to ensure accurate metrics and coverage.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report anomalies from a business end-user perspective.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor technical teams to understand requirements and assist in UAT scenario development.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, demos, and weekly status reporting to the QA Testing Lead.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and missing test cases to ensure software testing is completed on time.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development project testing.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing, including test strategy and script execution.
• Experience testing custom applications and GIS components.
• Knowledge of STLC and SDLC concepts, including Agile methodologies.
• Ability to review system specifications, business requirements, and design documents.
• Experience documenting Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and test results.
• Competency in system, regression, performance, load, security, and business continuity testing.
• Practical use of GitHub, ServiceNow, TFS, and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Mobile device testing experience.
• ISTQB, CSTE, or CAST certifications.
• Public sector experience.
