Description

You will manage and maintain GE Proficy MES applications and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, migration, and upgradation of GE Proficy MES applications.
• Interface plant applications with ERP systems and connect MES with L2 systems using Modbus and OPC protocols.
• Perform end-to-end validation and troubleshooting of MES environments.
• Coordinate technical, functional, and operational discussions with customers and process experts.
• Collaborate with technical leads to ensure project completion within specified timelines.

Required Skills

• 2 to 8 years of experience with the GE Proficy suite, including IGS OPC, Proficy Historian, and Proficy Plant Applications.
• Proficiency with OPC tools such as PTC's Kepware.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Deep understanding of MES systems and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Modbus and OPC industrial protocols.
• Proven ability to interface MES with ERP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in .Net.
• Experience in end-to-end testing of MES systems.
