Description

Lead the research and development of computer vision and machine learning algorithms to solve complex recognition problems. Own the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable computer vision software systems for retail applications.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop algorithms for object detection, recognition, segmentation, and tracking.
• Design and deliver computer vision software systems tailored for retail business applications.
• Build scalable solutions and improve algorithm performance on cloud or edge infrastructures.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers as a technical lead.
• Conduct scientific experiments and analyze results to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience building Computer Vision or Machine Learning models.
• Proficiency in Python and MLOps.
• Deep expertise in computer vision and deep learning algorithms, including object detection, image classification, segmentation, and video analysis.
• Strong understanding of generative and descriptive probability and statistical models.
• Ability to design and implement software applications on cloud or edge infrastructures.
• Proven experience in distributed computing and image processing.
• Master's degree with 3 years of industrial experience, or a PhD with 1 year of industrial experience.
