Description

Manage monthly and annual financial close processes and support general ledger accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and annual financial close processes and prepare financial statements for ownership and senior management.
• Perform detailed account and activity analysis to prepare general ledger journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain audit schedules for year-end processes and participate in budget preparation and analysis.
• Manage fixed asset tracking and cost accounting tasks, including cost of sales variance and profitability analysis.
• Prepare and file corporate sales and use, property, and franchise tax returns.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related Business degree.
• 10+ years of experience applying accounting principles to routine transactions and complex analyses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle cost accounting, including bill of material and routing analysis.
• Capacity to support international divisions with monthly close activities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Oracle software.
• Prior experience in a corporate accounting environment.
