Description

You will build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using BigQuery and DataProc.
• Investigate data quality issues with business teams and perform root cause analysis.
• Design and code review data solutions to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Train junior engineers on new methods, tools, and patterns.
• Test and compare competing technical solutions to recommend the best approach.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery and DataProc.
• Experience with data quality tools and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to team members and business partners.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
