Description

You will manage and maintain database environments to ensure operational stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, tune, implement, and upgrade DBMS installations.
• Write and deploy SQL patches and maintain database programs.
• Monitor databases and related systems to ensure high functionality and uptime.
• Troubleshoot platform-specific performance issues and debug database scripts.
• Proactively recommend system improvements and present statistical data.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in database engineering.
• Expertise in Oracle installation, upgrade, and patching (RAC, Data-Guard, RMAN, OEM, ASM, Partitioning).
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Experience with replication setups (GoldenGate or HVR), including failover troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in automation using Python, Shell Script, or Ansible.
• Experience with performance analysis and platform-specific query tuning.
• Familiarity with database design, schema creation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery setup and maintenance.
• Experience with data integrity, access controls, and audit trail configuration.
