Description
You will create, maintain, and validate critical geospatial infrastructure data to support company-wide applications and compliance initiatives.
This role is hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify geospatial infrastructure data, performing quality control for essential feature sets.
- Assemble and analyze geospatial data to support Positive Train Control (PTC) subdivision files and regulatory compliance.
- Convert field-generated spatial data into digital networks that adhere to established database and data model standards.
- Perform topology corrections and geometric modifications using GIS tools to ensure high data quality.
- Review and promote geospatial data change sets produced by CADD technicians.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in GIS-related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software.
- Experience with CADD systems.
- Experience with PTC (Positive Train Control) systems.
- Ability to interpret track geometrics and field-based feature placement information.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
