Description

You will ensure GIS accuracy and consistency across enterprise policies and standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review facility documentation and GIS digitizing for accuracy against department standards.
• Evaluate database health and accuracy using GIS tools and facility records.
• Transpose complex data from records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, and demographic models into the GIS database.
• Collaborate with team members to identify issues and improve data quality.
• Maintain understanding of department GIS digitizing standards.

Required Skills

• Experience with GIS software such as ESRI, AutoDesk, Bentley, or Integraph.
• Strong understanding of geographic concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret records maps, CAD drawings, and economic resources.
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with database software and computer systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data digitizing and quality assurance workflows.
