Description
You will manage geospatial data lifecycles and develop spatial tools to support internal users.
Responsibilities
- Develop geographic information systems to create, maintain, and leverage geospatial base map information.
- Produce maps in ArcPro and publish them in digital, paper, and web (AGOL) formats.
- Digitize and maintain spatial databases, including documenting procedures and validating data for accuracy.
- Perform complex spatial analyses, imagery analysis, and create tile caches.
- Write programs and develop user interfaces, menus, and macro-level commands to meet user needs.
- Update and maintain metadata for new and existing open data items.
- Act as a consultant to internal customers for spatial database use, development, and quality assessment.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of professional experience in GIS, cartography, CADD, or a related field.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience with ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and Portal.
- Experience with web services.
- Competency in building dashboards and using Experience Builder.
- Ability to manage and maintain spatial databases.
- Skills in creating base maps and performing imagery analysis.
- Ability to evaluate data quality from outside sources using Esri tools.
- Degree in any field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FME or Data Interoperability extensions.
- Spatial Analyst experience.
- Experience with Esri Enterprise (SDE via Catalog) databases.
