Description

You will provide GIS mapping and infrastructure expertise to support permitting applications and retrofit programs.

Responsibilities

• Implement editing tools and mapping workflows for building footprint map layers.
• Automate workflows for the Plan Check and Inspection System (PCIIS) using Python scripting.
• Integrate, troubleshoot, and configure GIS map services for the Building Information Online viewer.
• Create spatial and tabular queries from GIS data layers and permitting systems.
• Develop and update data quality scripts using Python and PL/SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in GIS analysis and map-based application workflows.
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS 10.x, ArcView, Arc Edit, and Arc Info.
• Strong experience in geodatabase design, creation, and management.
• Advanced Python scripting for workflow automation and data quality.
• Ability to run SQL queries and manage Oracle databases.
• Experience managing, evaluating, and troubleshooting geospatial data repositories.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of symbols and terminology used in civil, architectural, or electronic engineering drawings.
