Description

You will automate spatial QA/QC processes and maintain GIS infrastructure using Python and Esri tools.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated QA/QC geoprocessing services to ensure data integrity across GIS platforms.
• Design and implement geoprocessing tools using ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python.
• Perform GIS tasks across database, server, and desktop environments within an Oracle and Esri setup.
• Collaborate with GIS developers and data stewards to define QA/QC requirements.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in GIS analysis, processing, and development support using Esri products.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ArcPy, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Server, and Workflow Manager.
• Strong computational logic and algorithmic development in Python 3 and SQL.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle Spatial, Oracle SQL, and SQL Developer.
• Deep knowledge of spatial data models, formats, coordinate systems, and conversions.
• Experience with versioned editing, topology rules, and data reconciliation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
