You will process and analyze geospatial data to support projects in the electric, gas, or telecommunications sectors.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze geospatial data to identify trends and patterns in large datasets.
• Maintain data quality through rigorous QC/QA processes and ensure high accuracy.
• Perform data transformation to integrate and harmonize multiple data sources.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive databases for sector-specific projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored data solutions and provide technical support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a GIS Analyst in electric, gas, or telecommunications industries.
• Proficiency in GIS software including ArcGIS, GE Smallworld, QGIS, or FME.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and database management.
• Experience with database management systems and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with remote sensing technologies and advanced spatial analysis.
• GISP certification or an advanced degree.
