Description

You will manage parcel datasets, land records, and cadastral mapping to ensure accurate spatial data representation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain parcel maps, boundaries, and land records using GIS software.
• Interpret and digitize property deeds, legal descriptions, plats, and survey documents.
• Perform geospatial data analysis and quality control on cadastral data.
• Integrate parcel data with zoning, land use, flood zones, and infrastructure layers.
• Automate workflows using Python, SQL, or ModelBuilder to improve data processing.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in parcel mapping, cadastral data management, or GIS analysis.
• Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) and QGIS.
• Experience with parcel fabric, geodatabases, topology, and georeferencing.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and ModelBuilder for GIS automation.
• Strong understanding of land surveying principles, legal descriptions, and property records.
• Ability to interpret GPS, LiDAR, remote sensing, and aerial imagery.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Surveying, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with parcel fabric datasets in ArcGIS Pro.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation and its integration with GIS.
• Knowledge of tax assessment, zoning regulations, and land development.
