Perform geospatial analysis and develop solutions to meet specific business needs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write code and perform geo-analysis to combine and transform datasets for business requirements.
• Apply quality controls to output data to ensure accuracy and usability for the intended audience.
• Develop reports and dashboards in formats including Power BI and GIS Maps to share insights.
• Deconstruct complex requests from senior managers into discrete, solvable tasks.
• Document technical work and resulting insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop).
• Strong programming skills in Python or SQL for data analytics.
• Proficiency in GIS Software Applications, preferably ArcPro and Enterprise.
• Experience with database design and management.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools, specifically Power BI and Tableau.
• Ability to read and interpret code in Python, SQL, or R.
• Understanding of analytical methods, including probability and statistics.
• Experience with data processing and management support tools, including MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills when relating technical information to non-technical personnel.
