Description

You define and implement scalable GIS architecture aligned with enterprise standards, owning the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise GIS platforms, integrations, and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS applications using Python, including ArcPy, GeoPandas, and GDAL.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Handle spatial data (vector/raster) and enterprise geodatabases such as PostGIS, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Automate GIS workflows and perform advanced spatial analysis.
• Architect and maintain API integrations using REST and SOAP protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in GIS architecture and enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in Python-based GIS development.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with GIS servers, portals, and geodatabases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Solid understanding of system design and API integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Experience leading deployment, performance tuning, and optimization of GIS systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise geodatabase management at scale.
