Description

You will design and implement enterprise GIS application and system architectures within hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GIS architectures using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Manage ArcGIS Enterprise components including Portal, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store.
• Execute system engineering tasks for infrastructure deployment, platform upgrades, and patch management.
• Develop UML models, system architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support planning.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, and system engineering teams to support application delivery.

Required Skills

• 5–7+ years of experience implementing and supporting Esri technologies in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Esri’s Linear Referencing System (Roads and Highways) and transportation GIS solutions.
• Experience managing hybrid architectures spanning on-premise data centers and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, and Azure Monitor.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, and enterprise authentication (Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, SAML).
• Ability to apply automation and infrastructure-as-code using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
• Understanding of cloud security, certificate management, and segmented network design (NSGs, firewalls).
• Experience with hybrid integration techniques such as VPNs, ExpressRoute, and identity federation.
• Strong technical documentation skills for architecture review documents and reference models.
