Description

You will perform spatial data analysis and support the conversion of legacy databases to modern ESRI environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate coordination with ESRI, DSL, and OTIS to convert existing Oracle Spatial databases to ESRI Geodatabases.
• Analyze spatial data to verify the accuracy of converted Oracle Spatial data to ESRI Geodatabase features.
• Resolve system issues related to Geodatabase creation and manage GIS and non-GIS data conflicts within FL-SOLARIS and BTLDS datasets.
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications.
• Support the development of long-term solutions for cloud migration of supported applications.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a GIS Data Analyst.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and Oracle Spatial.
• Experience with land survey and cadastral GIS mapping and mapping applications.
• Experience with cadastral mapping, property tax records, or land ownership projects.
• Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and practices.
• Experience performing data analysis and resolving geospatial data conflicts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Tallahassee, FL.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working in a government environment.
