Description

You will design, develop, and maintain GIS solutions integrated into .NET applications and enterprise databases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications utilizing Esri ArcGIS.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into secure, commented, and maintainable code.
• Develop customized web applications, web services, mobile solutions, and GIS web editing/mapping applications.
• Research and analyze system problems to provide resolutions and complete technical documentation.
• Integrate GIS solutions with Oracle/Oracle Exadata, SQL Server, and data warehouse environments.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in programming and application development.
• Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and Python scripting.
• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Server services and GeoProcessing services development.
• Experience with Esri JavaScript API.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts.
• Understanding of IT security concepts and implementation patterns within Esri technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Esri Roads and Highways, dynamic segmentation, and linear referencing systems.
• Knowledge of transportation data models.
• Experience with SafeSoftware Feature Manipulation Engine (FME).
