Description

You will build and maintain geospatial applications using Python, C++, and JavaScript, focusing on QGIS plugin development and ESRI suite integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop QGIS plugins and script tools using Python with ESRI arcpy or QGIS modules for batch data processing.
• Create shell scripting and Python applications to automate processes based on web API requirements.
• Troubleshoot Source Catalogue issues related to raster tile generation and utilize FME Workbench.
• Debug daily web applications to ensure alignment with established processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C++, JavaScript, VB.NET, HTML, and Python.
• Experience developing with the ESRI suite of products, including ArcMap.
• Ability to write VBA scripts for process automation.
• Familiarity with role-based systems, Active Directory, and core services.
• Experience developing dashboards and writing clear user and administrator documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with FME Workbench for spatial data transformation.
