You will build and maintain geospatial applications and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop QGIS plugins using C++ based UI components.
• Create script tools using Python with ESRI arcpy or QGIS modules to batch process data conversions.
• Automate processes by developing shell scripting and Python applications based on web API requirements.
• Debug and adjust daily web applications to fit required processes.
• Troubleshoot Source Catalogue issues related to raster tile generation and develop FME workbench solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Arcmap and the ESRI suite of products.
• Experience with JavaScript, VB.NET, and C++.
• Strong skills in Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with HTML for developing pages (Confluence).
• Experience with role-based systems and Active Directory.
• Capability to develop and streamline functional processes for new projects.
