Description

You will maintain, enhance, and develop the County's Geographic Information System (GIS). You own the release and integrity of spatial data across multiple servers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new queries, automated scripts, and data input/output methodologies.
• Perform complex spatial analysis and manage data layers using GIS tools and relational databases.
• Research and resolve advanced GIS problems through aerial photo interpretation, cadastral analysis, and field research.
• Collect field data using GPS receivers and data loggers, then post-process results into the GIS.
• Collaborate with staff to review project requirements, establish goals, and devise timelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in GIS development and spatial analysis.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Server.
• Experience performing complex database queries.
• Expertise in GIS analysis and GIS applications.
• Ability to manage spatial data structures and relational databases.
• Experience with GPS data collection and post-processing.
• Any Graduate degree.
