Description

You will update and enhance road centerline and address/site location data to ensure compliance with NENA i3 (NENA 08-003) standards for Next Generation 9-1-1 architecture.

Responsibilities

• Identify and update missing or incorrect addresses and streets using Property Appraiser, Local Business Tax, Certificates of Occupancy, and Building Permit data.
• Digitize missing or incorrectly located streets and addresses and update existing attributes.
• Correct address points located too far from streets, including digitizing driveways where necessary.
• Coordinate with county departments and municipalities to identify new roadway construction and traffic flow changes.
• Execute quality control and quality assurance processes to prevent incorrect data entry into production datasets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in GIS editing using ArcGIS tools.
• Proven experience editing point addresses and street centerlines within an ArcGIS environment.
• Expertise in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
• Experience managing ArcGIS file geodatabases and ArcGIS Server.
• Knowledge of arcSDE and general GIS Applications.
• Experience implementing data quality control procedures.
• History of working with state and local government organizations.
• Demonstrated success completing projects involving NENA addressing requirements.
