Description

You will design, develop, and deploy production GIS web applications using Esri technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom desktop GIS tools and automate workflows.
• Write database queries to support operational and analytical needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in web and desktop GIS applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Author and maintain technical documentation, including code comments and SOPs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in GIS development, focused on web and desktop applications.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, ArcGIS REST services, and ArcGIS Experience Builder Developer Edition.
• Expertise in Python programming and ArcPy scripting.
• Solid experience with ArcGIS Pro, including geospatial analysis and cartographic design.
• Experience with web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSX, TypeScript, and React.
• Intermediate-to-advanced SQL skills with database management systems like SQL Server.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile and SDLC.
• Version control experience using Git.
• API development and integration with GIS services.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field.
