Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex GIS web applications and infrastructure for our agency, collaborating with IT and business teams to solve challenging integration needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop new GIS web applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.X and Experience Builder, upgrading legacy systems where required.
• Perform end-to-end GIS data development, service creation, and integration, including manipulating ArcGIS Server REST services.
• Write and manage Python scripts (2.X/3.X) for GIS ETL, data transformations, and database synchronization.
• Design and implement mobile GIS data collection workflows using Field Maps and Survey123, integrating results into browser-based apps.
• Support GIS infrastructure upgrades (database, app server, middleware) and troubleshoot production incidents to determine root causes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Server, including common add-ins and extensions.
• 3+ years developing low-code applications using Web App Builder and Experience Builder.
• 3+ years data development in RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle), JSON, XML, and web services.
• 3+ years administering and managing GIS web platforms: ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online.
• 2+ years ArcGIS web development using ESRI JavaScript API 3.X/4.X and/or ArcGIS SDK for .NET.
• 2+ years experience developing in Python 2.X/3.X for GIS ETL, with ArcPy.
• 2+ years designing and managing end-to-end mobile data collection workflows with Field Maps and Survey123.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Linear Referencing Systems (LRS).
• Experience working with source control repositories like Team Foundation Server.
