Description

You will define and implement the architecture for ArcGIS Enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture, networking, and storage configurations for Staging and Production ArcGIS Enterprise instances.
• Review and recommend hardware requirements, server sizing, and firewall policies for ArcGIS Enterprise deployments.
• Define a disaster recovery strategy for both ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Install and configure ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 or higher on Commonwealth servers.
• Create and maintain detailed logical design diagrams for ArcGIS Enterprise architecture.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in GIS architecture and deployment, preferably in Microsoft / Azure environments.
• Proven experience designing and deploying ArcGIS Enterprise in multi-environment configurations.
• Proficiency in DNS, port assignment, and firewall policy management for ArcGIS Server/Enterprise.
• Proficiency using Python (ArcPy, Pandas) and SQL for ArcGIS management and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with geodatabase design and spatial analysis.
• Familiarity with GIS web services (REST, SOAP) and APIs.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise administration and monitoring.
