Description

You will design, build, and maintain GIS applications and mapping reports.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage GIS maps, attributes, and associated mapping reports.
• Develop and maintain linear referencing systems (LRS) and GIS applications.
• Perform complex spatial analyses and develop multi-layered maps using ArcGIS.
• Convert data from Excel spreadsheets and databases into functional GIS maps.
• Provide technical support and expert advice to field users on GIS mapping.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in GIS and GIS application development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, building, and delivering web applications.
• Proficiency with ESRI GIS software suite (Arc 10.x), including ArcSDE and ArcGIS Enterprise (server, portal, web adaptors, data stores).
• Experience developing web applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript or other JavaScript mapping APIs.
• Proven ability to develop complex analysis and mapping projects.
• Strong debugging, design, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, Cartography, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in data extraction and scripting using Oracle SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ESRI Roads & Highways or similar LRS/GIS systems.
