Description

You will develop GIS tools, applications, and multi-layered maps to support spatial data management and complex analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage GIS maps, map attributes, and associated mapping reports.
• Develop and maintain linear referencing systems (LRS) and GIS applications.
• Transform data from Excel spreadsheets, databases, and other systems into populated GIS maps.
• Provide technical advice and support to client field users regarding GIS mapping and system integration.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in GIS and GIS application development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, building, and delivering web applications.
• High competence in ESRI GIS software suite (Arc 10.x), including ArcSDE and ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, Web Adaptors, Data Stores).
• Experience developing web applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript or other JavaScript mapping APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ESRI Roads & Highways or similar LRS/GIS systems.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
