Description

You will migrate the internal Sage-Grouse Habitat Quantification Tool (HQT) from ArcGIS 10.5 to ArcGIS Pro. You own the full lifecycle, including beta testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and bug fixing.

Responsibilities

• Recreate the HQT within ArcGIS Pro, managing links between internal and external data sources.
• Coordinate beta testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and bug fixing.
• Update system manuals, user guides, and database metadata.
• Incorporate tool enhancements and create GIS web or mobile applications as required.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases, client-server concepts, and web development.
• Expert knowledge of ESRI GIS software: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, including the ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and JSON services.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with ArcSDE database management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience in web or desktop development environments.
• Familiarity with mobile applications and GPS units.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in spatial analysis for natural resource projects.
• Experience with geospatial database management and FGDC metadata completion.
