Description

Lead GIS operations and manage technical implementations of spatial data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise GIS team operations and staff.
• Build and implement ESRI-based solutions for spatial data management.
• Manage research, writing, and acquisition of grants.
• Maintain accuracy and detail in municipal datasets and underground utility network mapping.
• Communicate technical findings and project updates through written and verbal reports.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in GIS with management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS technology, including ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Enterprise, and Mobile.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with coding for GIS applications.
• Knowledge of local municipal datasets and underground utility networks.
• BA/BS degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Natural Resources, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD software operations and file formats.
