Description

You will manage the design, development, and maintenance of geospatial databases, digital map products, and web applications within an enterprise GIS environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update digital geospatial datasets by digitizing hard copy records and processing field-collected data.
• Develop and maintain web maps and applications to meet specific user needs.
• Provide technical support, database queries, and geospatial analysis for staff and the public.
• Train users on how to effectively utilize geospatial data and applications.
• Operate with significant independence to prioritize daily tasks and technical requests.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with the Esri ArcGIS software suite.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online website deployment.
• Experience with Enterprise GIS deployment.
• Strong understanding of mapping technologies, concepts, geometry, and basic math.
• Competency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret technical writings and documented procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
