Description

You will design, develop, and implement geospatial solutions across desktop, web, and enterprise environments using leading GIS platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop geospatial solutions using ESRI ArcGIS suite, Hexagon, GE Smallworld, or AutoCAD Map3D.
• Develop scripts and automation workflows using Python (e.g., ArcPy) to support GIS operations.
• Manage spatial data, data modeling, and data quality improvement initiatives.
• Integrate GIS systems with enterprise applications such as asset management and ERP systems.
• Build maps, dashboards, and spatial analytics solutions while supporting testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Enterprise, QGIS, or GE Smallworld.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation within GIS contexts.
• Strong understanding of databases including SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL with spatial DB concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with spatial ETL tools (e.g., FME) and data processing workflows.
• Knowledge of web GIS or application development using JavaScript and APIs.
• B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc in Geoinformatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, or Spatial Data Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in utility (water, electric, telecom) or Energy domain projects.
• Exposure to AI/Agentic AI applications in geospatial contexts.
