Description

You will manage and develop GIS software, datasets, and database workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy GIS software and datasets.
• Configure databases and write complex functions and queries.
• Run GIS data ETL workflows, including triggers, actions, and logging.
• Write object-oriented scripts to automate tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues within GIS databases, scripts, and workflows.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in GIS development and database management.
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing and deploying GIS software and datasets.
• Expertise in configuring databases and developing queries.
• Experience managing ETL workflows, including scheduled tasks and notifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for GIS scripts and tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Math, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
