Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable GIS systems meeting strict performance and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure, maintainable software and communicate technical implications to leadership.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for critical pre-production and production issues.
• Monitor system activities and configure alert thresholds using ArcGIS Monitor and Fiddler.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to design in-house tools and resolve defects.
• Develop new application components, prototypes, and services using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and WebApi2.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in GIS and software development.
• Deep ESRI ArcGIS expertise including GIS Server, Portal, WebAppBuilder, GeoEvent Server, GeoAnalytics Server, and Image Server.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcObjects, and ARC FM.
• Strong Python scripting skills (2.6+ and 3.3+) and experience developing REST APIs with Python.
• Experience developing microservices and APIs using .NET Core.
• Full-stack web development skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Dojo.
• Experience building scalable web applications using Angular, React, or Node.js.
• Version control proficiency with Git and TFS.
• Ability to manage database layers using SQL and integrate services via SOAP and RESTful webservices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript and ArcGIS API for JavaScript v4.8.
