Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable GIS systems. Own the release pipeline and serve as the primary technical escalation point for critical pre-production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new application components, services, and prototypes using ESRI ArcGIS technologies.
• Drive design reviews and define interfaces between code modules to ensure secure, maintainable software.
• Monitor system activities in production and pre-production environments using ArcGIS Monitor and Fiddler.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to resolve defects and implement solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in GIS development and system management.
• Deep expertise in ESRI ArcGIS, including GIS Server, Portal, WebAppBuilder, Enterprise, Online, GeoEvent, GeoAnalytics, and Image Server.
• Strong Python scripting skills (2.6+ and 3.3+) and REST API development.
• Experience developing microservices and APIs using .NET Core.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Dojo, and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript v4.8.
• Hands-on experience with ArcObjects development and Angular, React, or Node JS.
• Version control proficiency using Git or TFS.
• Knowledge of WebApi2, SOAP, RESTful web services, and SQL database maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using ArcGIS Monitor for threshold alerts and system monitoring.
• Familiarity with ARC FM.
