Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise GIS solutions, cloud infrastructure, and spatial data integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement GIS architectural strategies, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise IT standards.
• Lead the design of enterprise GIS platforms, including system integrations, data flows, and services architecture.
• Support deployment and performance tuning of GIS servers, portals, and geodatabases.
• Architect API-based integrations, including RESTful and SOAP services, across GIS and enterprise platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in geospatial application development using Python, including web-mapping applications and automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Esri platforms, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Utility Network.
• Experience migrating Utility GIS landscapes from Geometric to Utility Network models.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS).
• Strong skills in spatial data handling, including vector/raster formats and enterprise geodatabases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience automating GIS workflows using Python libraries such as GDAL, GeoPandas, and ArcPy.
• Ability to implement ArcGIS components and integrate them with non-GIS systems.
• Knowledge of governance, security, data standards, and performance in large enterprise GIS environments.
