Description

You will architect and develop a web-based Forest Service Accomplishment Portal, replacing legacy Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, and paper processes with an integrated modular system.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web-based modules for incident response, forest management, and safety tracking.
• Develop GIS spatial components and interfaces for county tax record extraction.
• Build public-facing interfaces to improve data accessibility and user experience.
• Integrate disparate modules to allow for shared information and improved analytics output.
• Analyze organizational work processes to modify applications that meet specific business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience using C#.
• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET.
• 5+ years of expertise in SQL Server, including complex queries, triggers, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS reporting.
• 5+ years of experience with Entity Framework.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• 5+ years of experience with Team Foundation Server.
• 5+ years of Esri web development experience.
• Ability to learn new software systems and programming languages through self-study.

Preferred Skills

• Esri ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcGIS Server REST API, and ArcGIS Runtime SDKs.
• Python development using the arcpy package and geoprocessing scripts.
• Knowledge of ArcSDE, ArcObjects, and ArcGIS Server deployment on MS SQL Server.
