Description

Lead testing activities for GIS applications, services, and enterprise integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test strategies, scenarios, and traceability for GIS workflows.
• Oversee functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate GIS data models, map layers, feature services, and geospatial processing.
• Manage defect lifecycle including triage, root-cause analysis, and closure verification.
• Mentor QA team members and coordinate with stakeholders for release alignment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software testing and SDLC experience, including team leadership.
• 10+ years of hands-on testing of GIS applications and geospatial workflows.
• Experience with Esri technologies (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online, Field Maps).
• Strong knowledge of test design, defect management, and release validation.
• Experience with test automation and defining automation strategies.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and environment coordination.
• Experience testing REST APIs, data pipelines, and database-driven applications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the utility industry (electrical and gas preferred).
• Experience supporting cloud modernization or large-scale platform upgrades.
