Description

Develop and deliver geospatial training and documentation to support agency standards and data governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and update GIS training curricula, job aids, and standard operating procedures.
• Translate complex GIS workflows into user guides, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Develop GIS products including tools, dashboards, and web apps in coordination with business units.
• Lead training sessions and validate coursework modules.
• Produce visual content including graphics and video examples to support learning.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional GIS experience covering data analysis, cartography, and web-GIS.
• 3+ years of experience creating educational content, user guides, and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft platforms including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience in technical writing and public speaking.
• Ability to perform video and audio recording and editing (Camtasia, Adobe).
• Demonstrated experience in data manipulation.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of Python programming for automation and data manipulation.
• 2+ years of experience with FMET/SafeSoftware Suite for ETL processes.
• 1+ years of virtual instructor-led course development experience.
